Strands of pearls and a lacy bow added texture to Kim‘s presentation-style bouquet of purple dahlias and blush cymbidium orchids.
Kim‘s bridesmaids wore aubergine dresses and carried pomander bouquets, which hung from a chartreuse ribbon and tied around their wrists.
The couple hung flowing strips of fabric, crystal garlands and floral pomanders from the columns around the terrace.
Tall ivory ostrich feathers in glass vases gave dramatic height to each table. Strands of pearls and purple votive candles added an elegant ambience.
The cake was a colorful and tasty piece of art with its purple and green art deco design. Kim‘s mom designed the cake for the bakery and made the topper herself.
Kim and Eric glided across the ballroom floor to the tune of Etta James‘ "At Last."
Every year, Kim's father and his friend organize an amateur golf tournament in Estes Park. When Kim decided to attend the event, she didn't realize that she would be meeting her future husband there.

The Bride Kim Toney, 30, senior account specialist
The Groom Eric Granger, 33, maintenance technician
The Date September 1

One day into the tournament Kim found herself following Eric around and laughing at his jokes. The two stayed up all night talking and playing board games. The next morning, after meeting Eric, Kim's mom announced that she had found her daughter's future husband. She was right. Two years later, after spending the day hitting golf balls on the very same course where the two first met, Eric proposed.
